John Mayer Conquers Buffalo with “Battle Studies” August 10
Grammy award winner and chart topping singer and songwriter John Mayer will be on a summer tour that gets underway on July 16 in Charlotte, NC in support of his latest studio release, the Billboard chart topper “Battle Studies”.
As part of Mayer’s 34-city trek across the US which also includes a few stops Canada, he will be performing in Buffalo, NY at the Darien Lake Performing Arts Center on August 10, Tuesday at 7 PM.
John Mayer Tickets go on sale on April 24, Saturday at 10 AM EDT via Ticketmaster. Mayer’s official website will be holding a presale event on April 19, Monday at 10 AM EDT. Citi cardholders can also avail of presale tickets on April 21, Wednesday at 10 AM EDT. Live Nation will also be offering access to presale tickets on April 23, Friday at 10 AM EDT. Tickets are priced at $36 for the lawn seating areas.
“Battle Studies” is Mayer’s follow-up to his critically and commercially successful 2006 studio effort “Continuum”. Whereas “Continuum” is more R&B and soul, “Studies” is greatly influenced by the music icons of the 70s and the 80s like Neil Young, Tom Petty and Fleetwood Mac.
