March 24th, 2010 Posted in Concerts

Rock quartet Kings of Leon is slated to go on tour this summer trailing from east coast to west coast and back in a span of four months, still, to back up their 2008 release “Only by the Night”.

Included in the tour is a three-city stop in California in July and several east coast stops scattered through the months of June and September with a show in Atlantic City, NJ on June 5 to set things off.

Catch them along with Built to Spill and The Stills as support acts when they all hit the Darien Lake Performing Arts Center in New York on July 30, Friday at 7:30 PM. Tickets will be available to the public via Live Nation on March 27, Saturday at 10 AM EDT. No presale events were announced for this particular show. Tickets are sold for $36.50 for lawn seating areas.

“Only by the Night”, the band’s fourth studio release brought us the hits “Sex on Fire”, “Notion”, “Revelry”, and the hit carrier single “Use Somebody”. It is the band’s follow-up to their 2007 release “Because of the Times”.
