If you’ve ever gone on a plane trip and had to give up the foods you normally eat because you were afraid they wouldn’t allow them, or if your usual travel diet consists of junk food out of boredom or necessity, then let me tell you: it doesn’t have to be that way. There’s a secret way to bring an air fryer on a plane and we’re going to share it with you!
Although you can’t bring an air fryer on a plane as a carry-on item because they’re too big and bulky, there’s a way to sneak it in as your checked luggage! You simply have to follow these two steps:
- You’re going to have to make sure that your air fryer is under the maximum weight capacity for the airline you’re using, which is usually 50 pounds. The classic Air Fryer XL, a standard-sized air fryer that comes with most models, fits this bill at just 26 pounds.
- Next, you’ll need to actually fit the air fryer in your luggage. When choosing a bag for your air fryer, make sure that it has a hard case on it. This will allow you to safely transport the air fryer on a plane without risking damage. We recommend using a 19″ Rolling Carry-On Softside Spinner Bag from Amazon because they’re specifically designed to protect your items while in transport and are much more durable than regular luggage bags.
Once your air fryer is packed in a hard case and placed inside of a 19″ Rolling Carry-On Softside Spinner Bag by Amazon, you’re good to go! You can even use the rolling feature of the bag to help you transport your air fryer from one place to another in a safe and secure manner. Bonus: this bag will also fit perfectly inside of your checked luggage at the airport for a convenient way to travel with your air fryer when you don’t want it to check in as luggage.
If you’re looking for a way to prepare healthier meals when traveling and want something healthier than fast food, then the air fryer is the perfect solution. With an air fryer, you can easily create low-fat, low-calorie fries, chicken strips and other tasty treats while inside of your hotel room or in any other location you may find yourself.
The best part about an air fryer on a plane is that it won’t heat up your entire house after you get home from your trip! As long as you unplug it before leaving for the airport and take it out of its case before boarding the plane, you’ll be able to use it all day long without damaging your house or draining your electricity bill.

Remember: If you’re looking to bring an air fryer with you somewhere, make sure it’s underneath the weight limit for your airline. Also, make sure to use a hard case that can withstand the pressure of being transported on a plane. Will an air fryer set off fire alarm?
The air fryer is a popular cooking appliance with many uses. Air fryers are marketed as having minimal grease levels, and generally speaking, they can be used without worrying about fire safety. You obviously wouldn’t put an air fryer in the oven or on the stove, but you can put it next to the toaster! To test if your air fryer will set off fire alarm or not, you can use a drop of food coloring to see if your appliance will light it up. If it does not then there is no reason for concern! Not all products with food coloring have an indicator that prevents them from setting off a fire alarm. If your product or appliance does not have one, then we recommend you do this experiment to see if your product will set off fire alarm. You can contact the manufacturer of your air fryer to get a definitive answer about whether or not it will set off fire alarm.

What are some foods that you can cook in an air fryer?
The name “air fryer” might lead a lot of people to think that it is only good for frying, but remember, it is just a marketing term. Air fryers can be used for a variety of cooking methods. For example, you can cook some foods in the oven, other food in your skillet Fryer, and some in a slow cooker. Some foods that can be cooked in an air fryer are:
-Air fried chicken strips
-Pizza
-Soyaki (fried soybeans)
-Air fried potatoes
-Entrees like beef tips and chicken nuggets
-Fried egg roll wrappers (only if you’ve got a special recipe that only requires wrappers)
You can also use your air fryer to reheat leftovers. This is especially good when it comes to reheating burritos. Air fryers also make great rice cookers because they take up so much less space. You can use your air fryer to cook rice, pasta and risotto. You can also buy pre-cooked rice and cook it in the air fryer if you don’t want to use fresh ingredients. Be sure that you completely drain the rice before placing it in the air fryer. It is not recommended to use frozen foods in an air fryer because they can break down.
While there are a lot of uses for an air fryer out there, we’re focused on simple recipes like French fries, chicken strips, fried chicken and baked potato chips as well as some quick meals for our blog articles as well. Many of the other things you can cook in an air fryer are great, but they’re a little too involved. We have plenty of other recipes that take more than 15 minutes to make on our blog as well.
Do you have any advice for cleaning an air fryer?
Cleaning an air fryer is a difficult task for most people because it involves deep frying and oil which can be hard to clean up after the process is done. The best way to clean an air fryer is to get a paper towel or a sponge and put some soapy water on it. Make sure that you do this in a place where the oil will not go through to your counter top or floor. You can use paper towels or sponges for something like this, but if you’re cleaning more than just the air fryer then make sure you have some scrubbing pads as well because they will probably be required as well.
Then take your cleaner and wipe down everything making sure that you get all of the grease off of everything. You can use some dish soap and water to help clean things up as well. You can try different cleaners and find what works best for you.
If your air fryer has a glass door then you will want to make sure that it is completely dry before you put it back in its case. You can do this by using paper towels or a cloth to wipe down the glass after cleaning it completely.
If you have an air fryer with a lid, then the best thing to do is find an oven mitt or something similar and put that on top of the lid so that it keeps all of the grease inside of the air fryer instead of being able to come out via your ventilation system.
If there is grease underneath the basket of your air fryer, then you can use a few paper towels and a little bit of soapy water to wipe it down. Make sure that the oil is soaked up by the paper towels and then throw them away after.
Some people like to put their air fryer in the dishwasher, but this is not recommended. The dishwasher can warp some parts and it may not dry correctly when you put it back in its case.
It’s recommended to do this kind of cleaning at least once every two weeks or so if you use your air fryer a lot. If you are not sure how often you use your air fryer then it’s best to do this every two or three months. Try not to put your air fryer in the dishwasher as much as possible, but if it’s too late for that then try to clean it in the sink instead.
As far as cleaning the grease off of your air fryer itself, you want to make sure that when you take the basket out, you need to let it sit for a few hours so that the grease on the basket can completely drain out of it. Then you need to make sure that the grease from that basket drains out of your air fryer as well. If you don’t do this, then you risk getting excess grease in your air fryer and it will start corroding parts of your air fryer over time.
On the other hand, if there is no grease in the basket when you take it out, then make sure that you clean it off of the heating elements with a paper towel and some soapy water. You can use a small brush attachment on your vacuum cleaner to clean them out as well if they are hard to access.
What can you not do with an air fryer?
There are a few things that you do not want to try cooking in an air fryer. Here is a list of things that you should never cook in your air fryer:
-Deep fried foods -Some people try deep frying foods with their air fryers, but this is not recommended. While some things work nicely like chicken strips and French fries, most other foods do not work well at all when they are deep fried. The oil will get too hot and start to melt the plastic parts inside of your air fryer and then it can start to warp and crack over time. This can even cause you to have a fire or electrical issues with your air fryer as well.
-Chips with nuts -Air fryers are generally not that great for baking. Most of them only have one heating element, so baking foods can be a little tricky. If you’re going to bake something in your air fryer, make sure it is a basic blend of flour and other ingredients and nothing that has any nuts or seeds in it.
Some people like to cook fruit in their air fryers, but this is not recommended since the fruit can end up getting burnt or even turn into a gooey mess depending on what kind of fruits you’re cooking. Some people like to put peanut butter on chips and then cook them in their air fryer. The best thing to do here is not to use nuts in the air fryer as well because they can get stuck in your heating elements, which can cause them to melt. It’s also a good idea to avoid using certain oils when you cook with your air fryer too.
When you’re cooking with your air fryer, make sure that the temperature is about 400°F or 180°C. You will not want your food to be cooked any higher than that because it can start to break down over time and then you will have problems trying to eat it. On the other hand, 250°F or 120°C is enough for almost everyone since it is still very hot, but not enough for deep frying foods.
There are a lot of different air fryers on the market today, but we’ve tried to provide you with a list of the top 10 based on what you’re going to be using your air fryer for. If you’re just looking for something that you can use for simple meals and snacks here and there, then the GoWise will work well for you.
If you’re worried about not having enough space in your kitchen, check out things like the Philips airfryer because they are smaller than some of the other ones. Some of them are even shaped like a toaster oven so that they won’t take up much room at all in your kitchen.
If you are mostly just looking to make some snacks and desserts, the Hamilton Beach will be great for you. It’s a basic model that is meant to be used on a regular basis and it’s the best air fryer for making chips and fries.
If you want something that can be used for both baking and deep frying, then the Breville will provide you with a decent price point, but it has some great features like the infrared heating system. The Braun also has this feature which allows it to cook healthier options like fish and shrimp as well in more of an efficient manner than having to use an air fryer for.
If you plan on making more hearty meals, the Kitchen Aid air fryer is probably going to be the best air fryer for you. It’s not actually a convection air fryer, but it does have that infrared heating system on it and it cooks great things like chicken wings and fish fillets really well. This is a higher-end option as well.
Finally, if you want something that’s going to be able to do everything – bake, deep fry and grill – then the Ninja will work great for you.
