2½ tsp salt (kosher salt recommended, but you can use regular table salt if preferred) [My favorite brand is Maldon sea salt. You can also use any sea salt that you like. I don’t use fancy salts. Just use the regular stuff, it’s fine]

2 tbsp olive oil for brushing on dough [This is optional. You can skip this step if you want to.]

Olive Oil-packed Sun-dried Tomatoes

3 tbsp olive oil [or more to coat kale]

4 sun-dried tomatoes packed in oil [I like these brand]

Kale (optional)

5 leaves (about 1 cup chopped) Instructions Thaw Pizza Dough If your dough is frozen, thaw overnight in the refrigerator or for at least 30 minutes at room temperature. Prepare the Air Fryer Next, preheat your air fryer to 400 degrees F. While it’s heating up, combine warm water and oil in a large mixing bowl and stir until well-blended. Add 2 tablespoons olive oil and salt to the dough and knead until a smooth dough forms. To make the kale, first wash and cut the stems off the leaves (they will be too tough to eat).

Then pile all 5 leaves on top of one another, roll them all up into a cigar shape, then slice thinly crosswise with a sharp knife to create thin strips. In a medium-sized mixing bowl, combine kale strips with 3 tbsp olive oil and massage by hand until kale softens slightly. Set aside. Add Kale to Pizza Dough In a small mixing bowl, combine olive oil-packed sun-dried tomatoes with 1 tbsp olive oil. Set aside.

You can also use 2 tbsp of prepared or canned sun-dried tomato pesto if desired. If using kale, add the strips to the pizza dough and spread out evenly. Drizzle tomato mixture generously on top of kale and put back in the oven for 10 minutes, or until crispy crust forms on top. Serve Warm Pizza Crust is best served right away but can be made up to 3 days ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator if desired. To reheat, place on a baking sheet in preheated oven at 350 degrees F for 5 minutes before serving. 3.5.3226

Can you put frozen pizza in AirFryer?

If you don’t have an air fryer: Follow our Frozen Pizza recipe and cook it in a healthy non-stick skillet instead. For the best pizza, use a brand that doesn’t contain additional preservatives; otherwise, these frozen pizzas may become soggy over time due to the oil content.

If you’re using nonstick skillet: Make sure your frozen pizza’s crust is completely thawed before placing it on the pan. Then put cooked frozen pizza in an air fryer to reheat it before serving. To prevent sogginess, I recommend using a non-stick skillet when cooking this way so that no sticking or browning occurs during reheating in your air fryer.
