What happens to the food on America’s Test Kitchen?
Each dish that is prepared on America’s Test Kitchen is evaluated according to five qualities: Tastiness, Flavor, Ease, Appearance and Healthy. The food does not get eaten if the tasters think it does not pass one of these evaluations. Only the food that passes all evaluations is served to the tasters. Then we cook a second batch of each dish to make sure that any improvements made were effective. When we are finished filming the episode, we eat what remains as well as any leftovers from previous episodes.
Is America’s Test Kitchen legit?
Yes. We are a registered charity in the United States, and all of the recipes from America’s Test Kitchen and Cook’s Country are ours. Everything else, including photos, interviews with our test cooks, hosts and recipe developers is yours. We don’t sell anything you won’t find on our website.
