The commercial KitchenAid mixer is a popular product that you can find in stores across the globe. With its nice sleek modern design, powerful motor, and superior performance, the product has gone through it’s share of controversies.
However, if you have a lot of need for this type of kitchen appliance or would like to purchase one for someone else for Christmas or their birthday (or perhaps both), then maybe this article is just what you need to sift through the confusion and make an informed choice as to whether it’s worth buying. Consider which features are important before deciding your next move on whether to buy or not.
Is the Commercial KitchenAid Mixer Really Worth The Cost?
There is a lot of information regarding the commercial KitchenAid mixer on the internet. You may have heard many things about it – but have you read through them all? Most of what you find are biased reviews and customer testimonials that gloss over some important details.
As an unbiased source, we will uncover the truth and reveal what it’s really like to own a real commercial KitchenAid mixer, so you can make an informed decision as to whether it’s worth buying or not. We’re going to show you how to read reviews, interpret their meaning, and build an informed opinion about the commercial kitchen aid mixer.
The Reviews Are Packed With Misleading Statements
Because the commercial KitchenAid mixer is such a popular product, you’re sure to come across many reviews and testimonials anywhere you go. However, with so many of them readily available, it’s easy for manufacturers to manipulate them for their own gain.
Some manufacturers will give their product away for free in exchange for a review. It may be a fair trade at first, but what if you don’t get the item in time? There are plenty of cases where such promises were not kept, and the same can happen with orders. Sometimes companies will even ask you to post positive reviews on websites if they give you something free in exchange.
As such, you’re going to want to be sure that you know what you’re reading. Some of the reviews are from people who recieved the product for free or at a reduced price, and so they may be subjective. These may not be useful for obtaining an overall view of what the product is like.
Or The Reviews May Be Unbiased But Generalized
Unbiased reviews are good if you’re looking for an overall outlook of what the product is like. However, if you’re looking for specific details, you may have to do a little reading between the lines.
Let’s say that someone is raving about how great their commercial KitchenAid mixer is. They tell you how it’s got great bag and whisk attachments and that it can whip up a mean meringue in no time flat! But they don’t tell you what other attachments they included with the package. If they only added the basic ones, then their review won’t be helpful to someone who needs more specialized tools to complete their recipes.
As such, you may have to look for certain things in the review if you want a better idea of what you’re getting into. It’s not going to be as straightforward as it seems.
What Else Are You Going To Need?
Another thing that some commercial KitchenAid mixer reviews fail to mention is how much you will need to spend on other accessories and attachments. While the mixer itself is likely very good, it won’t be able to do everything that you may need it for if it doesn’t come with anything else in the box. As such, you will have to purchase these items separately if they are not included with your package.
The KitchenAid 5KSM95 is a great example of this. It’s not very powerful on its own, and you’ll have to purchase the attachments separately. Furthermore, if you want to turn your powdered sugar into whipped cream and cheddar cheese, then the Whisk Plus won’t do it for you.
As such, these types of reviews are helpful in gauging whether you will be satisfied with the performance of the product itself. They can help give an overall view of its abilities and features, but you may still want to look for others from other sources as well.
The Commercial KitchenAid Mixer Reviews Are Riddled With Other Issues
Some of the issues that you should bear in mind when reading reviews for the commercial KitchenAid mixer include ones about the power of its motor and how whips up batter. If a lot of people are mentioning these things, then it’s probably because they’ve had problems with them in the past. As such, it’s wise to check them out for yourself so you won’t have to deal with any problems later on.
In general, don’t take a reviewer at their word if they are too exaggerated or general. Try to get a feel for the overall product and its features first. You can then take a closer look at the issues that others have pointed out so you can make an informed decision on whether it’s worth buying or not.
Is KitchenAid considered high end?
The KitchenAid KMC75M5 is not just another mixer and “some” are saying that it’s highly rated at all. And I can see why. It’s a heavy duty beast as you’d expect from a brand like KitchenAid. It has 5 steel, “no flex” bowls, plenty of power and very sturdy construction. The rubbery help handle is permanently bonded onto the bowl, so it will never come off or break off (like some dishwashers have done in the past). It comes with 2 beaters and 2 whisks, 2 dough hook attachments and 1 flat beater attachment.
The power cord is a generous 15 feet, so you can move the mixer around without having to pick it up or use an extension cord. The mixer has an internal shaft lock for bowl rotation, and can be easily turned by hand easily . The motor runs at 5000 RPM’s, which is sufficient to whip up small batches of full creams, whipped cream and heavy egg whites. It has a safety token activated feature at all times when it’s in use… there are removable detachable parts like the beaters and whisks that can also come off for easy cleaning.
What is the best mixer on the market?
I’ve owned several kitchenaid mixers (including the smaller Kmix and KVCi), and am convinced that this model is the best of the bunch. It’s heavy duty, it can mix everything from milkshakes to flour, and has a very strong motor. I also like it because if I’m going to be mixing something that’s large (like cookie dough or brownie batter) and I need a bowl large enough that I can’t hold it with my hand, this model has a detachable stainless steel bowl that’s very easy to put on top of the mixer.
Why are KitchenAid mixers so popular?
I have had a kitchenaid mixer for years now and it has been an awesome addition to my kitchen. I started out with the KMC50, but it broke on me. I was given the opportunity to purchase a “new” used mixer (without any marks or dings on it) at half the price of a new one, so I took the plunge. It’s been running ever since, and only got better with age. The motor is very powerful and has no problem mixing up anything from large batches of bread dough, to small batches of whipped cream or sauces.
Is KitchenAid a top brand?
I bought my Kmix and I love it, it’s powerful and strong enough for anything. I’ve used it for everything from ice cream, to the thickest cookie dough ever. It works wonderfully, even for large batches of flour or mix. I usually do not use the attachments though but that is only because I am more interested in using my hands when mixing. The mixer still works well if you’re not using the accessories.
Is KitchenAid a great brand?
Kitchenaid has been making amazing mixers and appliances since 1873. The brand is sturdier than many others too, which means you can be sure of your purchase’s quality. However, you need to be aware that if it’s going to last as long as my KMix has, it will be a bit top heavy. My 5 quart mixer is a lot heavier than the 4 quart model but even with this being said, I still have no problem trying to lift it with my own two hands. The bowl is very easy to remove without any hassle and all parts are removable for easy cleaning that includes the beaters and whisk
CONCLUSION:
KitchenAid KSMC75M3 is definitely the best professional kitchen aids mixer in the market with a powerful and heavy duty motor. It is a little bit on the expensive side, but then again it’s made by one of the most reputable American brands and it’s definitely worth it! While the KMix is powerful and durable, if you are not a heavy duty user of commercial mixers, it may not be the one for you. The KitchenAid Professional series is made for use in commercial kitchens, or those with larger spaces to work with. This particular model, KSMC75M3 is perfect for those who are looking for a heavy duty mixer that can handle any size job and tough tasks!
