How do I do a food review?

If you love food, this is the show for you. Every week local chefs and restaurant owners dare to step into the kitchen (or sometimes off of it)! We invite you to take a look under the hood of their kitchens as they prepare a meal for two or five. From wild mushroom ravioli to crispy calamari and everything in between, there’s something for everyone! Some of the chefs involved are Mexican chefs from Sonora, Chef Janay Gibson from Red Robin and Chef Josh Gainer from Moka Java.

What will I find in the show?

You’ll experience many things during our shows – from first hand accounts on how restaurants make their meals to cooking demonstrations. Prepare to be wowed as host James Hall sits down with some of the best local chefs, food critics, and retail eaters for a culinary journey of epicurean proportions. We’ll also give you tips and tricks for preparing your favorite dishes at home.

What’s the best way to get the word out about my next menu item or new menu item that’s under development?  The question of how to get the word out about your next menu item is always in the back of your mind.

How do I find a restaurant to review?

Here’s a handy guide as to when you can expect your next review:

You’re close to one of the participating restaurants and will be ready to bring the show to life in the very near future.

Your restaurant is involved in our shows, but you want additional coverage, so send us over a booking form . We like that you want us there more! We would love to help promote your restaurant on our show and reach a new audience. No problem! Our host and producer take all forms seriously. We’ll get back to you as soon as possible.

Why should I review my favorite restaurants?

For one you could be on television! Second, our reviews are what makes us so unique; we give the reasons why a restaurant is great. We love to know everything about a restaurant and we think you will too. It’s important for you to know when to get your favorite dish at a restaurant and why it’s the best. Sometimes restaurants surprise you with something new. If you told your friends about it, they might order it too.

Final Thoughts:

The show is all about sharing our love of food. It’s not a competitive show or simply a show where we go to local restaurants and do their cooking (though it can be that too!). We are big foodies like you! how meals are created, decorations, and every detail it takes to make a great tasting meal. All of these things make up what we call the “soul” of a restaurant and most importantly, how well the people who work behind the scenes really know how to cook!
